Dr. Stanislaus Joseph “Billy” St. Martin, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle, age 91, passed away on October 13, 2024. Billy lived a life of service with an emphasis on faith and family, devoted to providing quality, accessible medical care to his community. He is survived by his children Julie Bordelon, Michael St. Martin (Marcy), Yvette Coleman (Jeff), Adele Parker (Arthur) and Adrienne Hayes (Steve), his grandchildren John Bordelon, Elizabeth Bordelon Adams (Austin), Catherine Bordelon Fussell (Brad), Emily St. Martin, Pierre St. Martin (Paige), Andre St. Martin (Carolina), Jeanne Poche (Jeremy), Andrew Coleman (Frances), Jesse Coleman (Shelby) Ashley Parker, James Parker (Caroline), Stephen Parker, David Parker, Matthew Hayes (Lindsay), Angelle Hayes Candrian (Carter), Jason Hayes (Mirna), Monique Hayes and Daniel Hayes; and his great-grandchildren Vivian and Benjamin Bordelon; Mary Austin, Jules and Libby Adams; Frances, Camille and Fitz Fussell; Arlo Connell; Michael, Juliette and Sophie St. Martin; Willa, Sloane, and Fiona Poche; Florence Coleman; Lilah Coleman; Ada, Levi, Abram, Leo and JoClaire Hayes; Charlie and Luke Candrian; and his brother Thomas St. Martin (Jerrye). He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Vivian “Vianne” Adolph St. Martin, his parents Ada and Lionel St. Martin, and his siblings Wanda Ollar, Lionel St. Martin, Jr., Peggy Epperson, Janice Hargroder and Dale Leonard. We are abundantly thankful for the loving care provided by Damira, Elonda, Jeanette, Ninika, TyJae and the team at St. Catherine’s Hospice. We offer special thanksgiving for the love, attention, care and leadership provided by Karen Sterling who joined us as we began this journey 7 years ago. We are blessed to call all of these incredible caregivers family. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th Street, LaPlace, LA., on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 12:30 p.m. Interment in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
