Wendy Lynn Waren Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Wendy Lynn Waren, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 20, 2022, due to complications from brain surgery. Wendy is survived by her parents, Rick and Jill Lundin of Reserve, La; four siblings, Nicholas Waren and his wife Vanessa; Kristen Lundin Craig and her husband Brenden; Katelyn Lundin Doucet and her husband Derek; John Lundin and his wife Raelene; and six nieces and nephews: Victoria Waren; Brady, Jack, and Marjorie Craig; and Madison and Claire Lundin. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Calvin and Iris Rousse of Reserve, La. Wendy, a native of Reserve, Louisiana, was born on December 22, 1985. After graduating from St. Charles Catholic High School in Laplace, Louisiana, she attended Southeastern University where she obtained a B.A. degree in Business Administration. Wendy will be deeply missed by her family and friends, especially by her childhood best friend, Hali Madere Cortez. Their bond, though separated by distance, remained ever strong. We are so blessed and grateful Wendy was able to spend her last few months at home in Reserve. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1550 Hwy 44, Reserve on Friday, February 25, 2022.
